| Exceptional communication on a last minute get-a-way! Beautiful and clean! All whom we met up there were so kind and neighborly! The owners of the general store with a little place to eat is a MUST! They're wonderful! The hospitality was unbelievable. The lake was beautiful. We spent all of our time at the lake- especially some of our grown up CITY kids who tried to row a canoe for the first time- they spent a lot of time IN the lake. Wonderful memories. Will return! | |

| What a great time! Canoe, kayaks, jet ski and pontoon... the only thing not provided was the vodka tonics. This is the prettiest east coast mountain lake I've seen yet. Totally unspoiled. | |

| Watauga Lake.. A slice of Heaven on earth. The View from all sides will leave you breathless, the still of the air, and breeze will take you far way. The cabin was wonderful, everything we needed was under one roof. I certainly enjoyed, the hike around the lake, and to the climb to the top. Looking forward to many returned visits... | |

| We had the most wonderful time here! The color in the fall here is so much more vibrant than it is in Texas. There is such a beautiful view of the lake! We like to get up pretty early, and watching the sunrise way up in the mountain tops while sipping our morning coffee was a real treat. We didn't catch very many fish, but it was a lot of fun sitting on your dock fishing. | |

| We had a GREAT time! The accommodations were lovely, and the view was spectacular! I loved the sunrise over the foggy mountain tops and the beautiful lake. I think on our next trip we will have to go out in your canoe and explore the lake. And, we were wondering if you had a name for that huge bird that lives in the tree out back? The people in the area are so friendly. I can't wait until we have a chance to visit again. | |
